I get to go to court this morning to fight for justice! Not really. I’m going to Court but I don’t believe the type of justice that really matters typically happens in a courtroom. In fact, I think this little statue from my father’s collection speaks of a higher justice. A justice where good towers over evil. But I believe that is found in our day-to-day battle of life. It’s not really a battle but a choice to do good and act compassionately toward others.
The courtroom is a venue for determining the truth most acceptable to society. Because “truth” is merely about perspective. The most common viewpoint is typically what is accepted as truth. If we all act for the welfare of others it will become our truth.
