What not to say to your children during your divorce.

Parents should never say "You spent two days with Dad and only one with me." or "No, you can't see Mom, it's my time." In other words, don't compare the time spent or stop your children from seeing the other parent or other family. It's not about quantity, it most definitely about quality. Make the limited time with your children to create memories and love them. And the time away from your children you should embrace as time to heal and re-create yourself. Taking care of yourself is one of the best ways to care for your children.

This post (or an edited version of it) was recently published by Redbook Magazine in an article called "30 Things You Should Never Say to Your Kids While You're Going Through a Divorce". I would suggest reading the entire article... http://www.redbookmag.com/life/mom-kids/g13079249/30-things-you-should-never-say-to-your-kids-while-youre-going-through-a-divorce/
